How to Magnetize Your Home for Attractive Results

During my early real estate adventures, I was also a graduate student in Transpersonal Psychology—at what felt like a real-life, accredited Hogwarts school. Immersed in consciousness studies, my worldview was being shaped by the idea of the primacy of consciousness: that mind influences matter at least as much as matter influences mind. That perspective naturally bled into my real estate work. I had an experimental streak and a hunger for any edge that aligned with both intuition and results. I wasn’t satisfied with purely mechanical explanations for why homes sold—or didn’t. Around that time, my friend Barbara Harwell, a feng shui consultant and real estate broker, began sharing story after story. Clients would be panicking because their homes weren’t selling. She’d come in, reorganize furniture, adjust flow, make a few targeted changes—and suddenly the house would sell faster, sometimes flying off the market in record time. Naturally, I was intrigued. At a simple, practical level, feng shui means wind–water: enhancing flow. In modern terms, that often starts with decluttering—clearing stagnation so energy (and people) can move. But Barbara also worked at a more advanced level, using the compass method and organizing the home into purpose-driven areas aligned with the bagua. As I kept exploring, I encountered Mamie Wheeler and Janet Love in Phoenix, Arizona—bothworking at the intersection of healing and environment. Janet Love was a healer who used pendulums and clearing protocols to neutralize what she described as energetic residue within spaces. Mamie Wheeler, an RN with strong intuitive abilities, would assess a home remotely using pendulums to gauge its energetic state. Then, in person, I would complete the process with a simple ceremony—-sage, intention, and fire—-moving through the home. When I began combining these approaches—practical flow, intentional organization, and energetic clearing—I noticed something unmistakable: my homes sold faster. The home had a feeling of greater peace, like that of a newborn baby. Subjectively, I noted how buyers would be clamoring for the home, like they were attracted to iron filings to a magnet. I couldn’t always explain it in conventional terms, but the pattern was consistent enough to respect. And for someone already steeped in the idea that consciousness and environment are in constant dialogue, the results felt less like coincidence and more like confirmation.
